And i must say that it's a really great place, i hope to find the items i talking about and talk with other blues freaks . I'm always looking for Buddy guy on dvd !!!! Best Regards Mr-Blues.dk

My wife is Danish, they still have a farm there. we are looking froward to a visit in the future. I tried just now to get you the radio station but I do not know where in the computer she put the stations. Anyhow this is a great place a diverse forum. Nice and intimate production, and the man (of course) just drips with soul! He was one of the first blues guitarist I ever heard. Somebody told me "if you like Hendrix, you got to check out Buddy Guy!" Damn, I am glad he did. I've had people tell me that I play like Buddy. I wish. I didn't correct them though, just thanked them and went about my business. Greg p.s. In short, you have a fellow Buddy Guy fan in me! Welcome aboard!!! Posts: 595 Feb 7 06 10:23 PM	There are a couple of interesting appearances by Buddy Guy not listed here: There's a muddy waters live at Montreux disc that came out here last year (and of all places was on sale at Wal-Mart) that features more than half the performances actually being by Buddy and Junior wells. There's also a fantastic documentary from about 1970 that is simply titled "Chicago Blues" and is available through Stephan Grossman's company. It's also for sale at speciality stores. it's about the genre and its root in black/white relations and feature fantastic use of Buddy's material (most notably the closing scenes of urban desolation set against "My Time After awhile"). About halfway through, there's about two minutes of Jr. and Buddy doing an uptempo (? haven't seen elsewhere) version of "You Know THat I Know", with Buddy pulling one motehr a lemon-sucking, gritty to the bone solo. Also, there's excerpts from a 35-minute interview I did with Buddy a couple of years ago on our website, although that part is down right now. (I should have it up soon, remind me in a couple if you're interested and it'snot there),. Phew!
