Hi! I have been here and posting for about two weeks. I am enjoying the forums. For some reason I like to look at what people are listening to and what they are buying. 
I am a volunteer DJ at KRVM radio in Eugene, Oregon. The station does 23 hours of blues programming a week (lotsa links on my signature) which is very unusual. One of the other volunteer DJs says that in hourly total we are about 5th in the US for blues programming. We are a "small" public station with a pretty solid following. We broadcast over the internet. Check us out.
I am also a member of the Rainy Day Blues Society. We are just beginning to get on our feet...we are still very young and growing. We have sponsored some shows in Eugene (Mark Hummel-Johnny Dyer, Michael Burks, Bettye LaVette and soon Tommy Castro) and we have sponsored shows with many of our local high quality bands. We have intentions to start a blues in the schools program and continue to expose the public to local and national bues acts...building the music!
I enjoy taking pictures at concerts (yes...with those annoying flashes) and have posted some pictures (Marcia Ball) and a friend posted some others (Janiva Magness).
I find this to be a fun thing to do.
