I am still a novice in the blues, but I have a passion for what I've heard and would love to hear so much more. I look forward to discussing this music with you all! For those who don't already know, I also post on a classical music forum and a thread appeared in there "diner" section concerning blues music and heck, you know I had to give this place a plug. You might find a couple of other folks from that forum who expressed an interest in blues finding there way here. Again welcome Comrade, don't be afraid to ask questions. Artists like Hendrix, Clapton, SRV, and other blues rock greats piqued my interest for the blues. I discovered Howlin' Wolf, Freddy King, Robert Johnson, Jimmy Rodgers, Albert King, Albert Collins, BB King, and all the other, well-known greats. However, about five years ago, my musical interests went elsewhere, and I stopped listening to the blues entirely. Recently, though, I've thankfully returned to it. I can't wait to hear and learn more about the blues. I'm glad Tom1960 recommended me to this site. I feel it will be just the place to expand my knowledge and taste!
