I love Sonny but Sonny doesn't need any freaking help.

Everybody looks good at the starting line. Get on your mark,get ready but you better keep this in mind. You can hit the ground running like you're shot from a gun but going the distance is the hard part son. Everybody looks good at the starting line.

Planning to see him this week! Sadly, the highly anticipated Nighthawks show has been cancelled due to the fires

Sonny's in Denver, so should be okay. 'hawks were to play in Crystola (my favorite watering hole) which is closed down due to the Pyramid/Waldo Canyon fire - currently over 2500 acres. My daughter is still evacuated.

Never put off til tomorrow what you can do the day after.

Love This Album..

Got to preview it on Youtube, and I got excited when I saw that Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson are back for more. They really mesh very well with Sonny as they explore the music. I also like the fact that this is an instrumental album. Think that I'll pick it up.

In the meantime, listen for yourself. No Blues, but just good guitar playing and they don't shred for shred's sake.

Oh yeah-sad to hear about the fires so close to you, I hope it all works out OK for your daughter. We have some pretty big fires going in Utah now, but so far not near where I live. Smokey clear up to Rock Springs, though.
