there seems to be a few very subtle changes to the forum in the last few days. When I compose a new message or reply to a message I get a slightly different feel to the layout, also if I attach a file I used to press the 'browse' button but its been replaced by 'choose file'.

Don't want to get anyone too excited or anything but since these changes I've not had any speed issues accessing this site.

Its not all good news as I tried to upload a pic to show the new 'choose file' layout. I tried as a JPG and a GIF file but each time got an error 'you cannot upload this type of file'. Not had any problems with these files in the past

Have you tried to reduce the image before you post it ?
There's a size limitation, actually a "weight" limitation, around 400 or 500 kbs max, if I remember well.

It's only 26.8K - a very small file
Nope, still not happy 'you cannot upload this type of file'

all sorts of weird sh*t going on. its telling me I'm not allowed to send the mail but when I do it a second time it works.. then I find that the first one worked as well.
Not complaining though as , at least, the forum is not slow

I haven't tried uploading a picture from my computer, but adding pics from the internet works. I've added LPs and CDs covers in the "listening" threads. Just did it again.

OK, I just tried to add a little bity tiny small smiley from my computer and I got the same message.

I just grabbed a random picture off my photobucket and it seems to work. That's 301 cubic inches of awesome that is getting ready to be installed in my '68.

Punched out .060 over, nice cam, oversized valves, took .025 off the deck and another off the head-should give it around 9+ compression, headers all turning a 4 speed o/d tranny. I'm debating whether to pop for fuel injection. I do have a supercharger for it. Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown
