the bass drum on the videos is either an old suitcase or old road case with a bass drum pedal attached and mic'ed into a bass amp. the snare is an antique and its stand even more antique.
video quality is not wonderful but you can get the idea. huge wild sound that is very un-typical for what i've been used to. more fun than a roller coaster.
