Deepest Blue Posts: 3440 Feb 24 12 11:52 AM	Ben Maree, who reputedly played with Charlie Patton and Tommy Johnson, is one of the more obscure blues men from the era, and very little is known of him. A short reference is here: http://www.earlyblues.com/Essay%20-%20Im%2...%20Shoulder.htm But then in later years more has been found out about Robert Johnson's mentor Ike Zimmerman so everything is possible.
