This disc by Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa is really quite a borefest in my opinion. Had a hard time listening to it the first time through. Nothing, absolutely nothing stands out for me here. This was my reaction Titled Don't Explain . . . more like "Hey Joe, youz some 'splainin' to do here, buddy!" I guess he's comfortable enough with his success to put out drivel. Again, my opinion people. Excuse me if I have offended anybody. I am not a big fan of his material to begin with, but she did nothing to catch my attention either. Deepest Blue Posts: 2745 Oct 31 11 9:08 AM	All I can say is that Joe's best playing is always when he's backing someone else. There's some great stuff on this record (I'd Rather Go Blind, Sinner's Prayer) and some snooze fests. It's an inoffensive album with some standout tracks. And Joe's dialled back the "MORE!" knob more than a few notches which is good by me. Great player, great ideas but his tone and phrasing on his own staff gets to me after a while. Not that I don't enjoy his playing (some stuff), but here it was Beth's turn to shine.
