This Mississippi Blues guitarist/singer's first record was released on Vocalion in 1929 and his last (posthumous) CD was released on Blue Horizon in 2007.

In George's defense, he's been having computer issues these last few days and has emailed me about it from a public library.
Unfortunately, I'm out of town myself, staying at my brother's for a few days, and he doesn't have an internet connexion. I have to deal with a very slow wireless connexion and end up turning off my laptop when I'm fed up with it, so I haven't been able to let you all know about it before.

Methinks the following Q is pretty 'interesting'.

Virginia (1941)

Please identify the musicians in the brief cameo at the beginning of this clip.
They are a father (a blind man) ,on guitar and vocals,and his son on tambourine and vocals.
'Carburator' their 'eye-seeing' and guitar strumming dog completes the trio.
The son is still with us.He's made a career for himself as a guitarist/singer/songwriter and as a session man.
