The thread in the pre war that raised the name of Alexis Korner motivated this one, there were many "roots of" / "presents " etc. compilations that featured pre war blues that is the roots or the best that a blues-rock musician compiled. I don't have any of those, but since it was mentioned I wonder what is the best/favorite.
