Each year we have an open competition for original artwork for our Texas Blues Radio t-shirts at KNON. We use those (as well as hats and BBQ aprons) as pledge drive incentives at the $40 pledge level. We have received many nice designs from our listeners over the years and I thought I would invite BBF members to also participate.

KNON Blues T-shirt contest
Once again we are having an OPEN competition for our annual Texas Blues Radio T-shirt design for 2011. We don't have big prizes to give away, but if selected, your design will be worn by hundreds of blues fans in Dallas/Fort Worth and all around the world. The winner will receive 3 shirts and on-air mention. The winner will be chosen by the Texas Blues Radio DJs. All entries become the property of KNON and will not be returned.
Deadline for entry is Friday, January 7, 2011 at 8 pm CST.
The winner will be announced the week of February 6, 2011.
Here's the technical details:
The design MUST include the following text:
Texas Blues Radio
KNON 89.3 FM
Dallas/Fort Worth (or Dallas-Fort Worth)
size must be no larger than 8.5 X 11 inches
2 color, black and white LINE ART designs, no half tones or shading
must NOT portray any real person, living or dead
the design must be your ORIGINAL artwork
we reserve the right to edit or amend the design as we see fit
