These are CDs going OOP, meaning they'll be very hard to find sooner than not. Personal faves are : Blue Mitchell - Boss Horn Hank Mobley - Hi Voltage Art Blakey - At The Jazz Corner Of The World (2 CDs) Stan Getz - Complete Roost Recordings (3 CDs) Lee Morgan - Live At The Lighthouse (3 CDs) Grant Green - First Session (Connoisseur Series) Ike Quebec - Complete 45 Sessions (Connoisseur) (2 CDs) Pat Martino - Live At Yoshi's Charlie Parker - At Storyville Not that any other from Tom's list isn't as good, but these are a few I know and enjoy. For my money it would be the Mogie Lighthouse or the Blakey but any one of those pending oops would be a winner. Everybody looks good at the starting line. Get on your mark,get ready but you better keep this in mind. You can hit the ground running like you're shot from a gun but going the distance is the hard part son.
