Nor did he mention the many blues artists he met and yes, helped too through his long time passion for African American musics. Deepest Blue Posts: 30580 Feb 1 09 5:43 PM	Actually we only met but very few times (how could it be otherwise, with Jean-Luc spending most of his time in the States with forgotten blues people and also that guy Konkel ), but I'm an avid reader of his reviews, interviews, articles, and whatever form his writings on blues and soul musics may take, be it in Soul Bag, ABS mag, or his own blog (I'd give you a link, but it's in French, you know, those weird sounds Inspector Clouzeau and Maurice Chevalier used to make ). Deepest Blue Posts: 30580 Feb 1 09 9:35 PM	Sassie, the only time I got mad at Soul Bag was when one reviewer wrote a terrible review about Root Doctor's first CD, a mistake that was corrected by another contributor when he reviewed RD's second CD and he took the time to contradict what the other guy had said about the first one. Apart from that, Soul Bag and ABS magazine are my favorite blues magazines, I like them even better than the one I write for ! Which I also like of course, I wouldn't write in it otherwise, especially as a volunteer contributor. Rene Paris, France.
