My name is Gene and I live just south of Boston, MA. I'm in my 50's and have been listening to blues music since the late 60s, when I was introduced to it by the likes of Mayall, Clapton, Yardbirds, Van Morrison etc. Nowadays I listen to a lot of Jazz, New Orleans and rock music but I always return to the early blues.
Mya favorites are Charley Patton, Tommy Johnson, Son House, Muddy - mostly the delta players, but I enjoy all of the pre-war blues.
A few years ago some friends annd I made a music pilgrimage down through Mississippi/Memphis - here's some photos:
