Blues News out of Seattle, WA -
"The Little Bill Tribute Project is making great progress. Producer Randy Oxford reports that 7 cuts have already been recorded and are on file at Pacific Studios in Tacoma awaiting several more songs that are in process. Each artist on this CD has invented his/her own interpretation of a Little Bill composition. These are outstanding performances by musicians who know and love the man and his work. Randy has not yet revealed the names of all those involved, but NW blues fans will know most of them and be amazed at the variety and depth of the talent collected here. Some will even be a surprise to Bill.
Finanical support for the Little Bill Tribute Project has come mainly from fans and musicians, all of whom will be acknowledged and honored on the CD. Two club owners have stepped forward to lend a hand - Cathy Manke of The Spar in Tacoma and Gaye Anderson of The New Orleans in Seattle. They will be among the first clubs offered a CD Release Party. The contributions the project has gathered to date are deeply appreciated, but it is hoped that even more folks will want to help out."
