Deepest Blue Posts: 9273 Jul 14 08 12:15 AM	This is truly getting interesting. There are five Rooney brothers with 16% shares of ownership. It's looking like Dan and his son who run the team are gonna lose control of the franchise at some point. Each Brother's share is worth 140 million which makes it unlikely that Dan will be able to buy enough of the stock to get to the 30% ownership level that the League wants from its majority owners. Basically Dan is the guy who took over the running of the club from his father in the late 60's and made them what they are today. Everybody around here is wondering what this'll mean for the future. For Pittsburgh this is equal to global warming, the price of gas and terrorism COMBINED. Steelers/Rooneys, the same thing.
