If you HAD to name a daughter from a blues title, which name would you pick?

Me, I would pick either Mary (which is my wife's name)
or Nadine, whic has a nice ring to it.

I voted for Caldonia, but I'd have to add a middle name to that; Caldonia Bessie; actually, how about Big Mama Caldonia Bessie.

Nice ring to it.

Well our daughter's name is Catalina Beth. Catalina was my maternal grandmother's name. She was an absolutely sweet woman. Grandma only spoke spanish & was illiterate but with her spanish TV news she knew what was going on.

Beth is my mother-in-laws name and one of my sister's names. Both very strong & sweet women.

So I can't really pick one of the names on the list

Unfortunately,we never were blessed with a daughter,but Katie Mae would go well with our surname,Blair,I think. Yeah,a cool blues singing lady named Katie Mae Blair does it for me!

I voted for Katie Mae.

As you all know, my daughters are really called Dusty and Secret

oops, sorry, Jessica and Charlotte! We chose the names because we liked them and because when your surname is as short and monosyllabic as "Price" you need at least two syllables in your given name to balance it out.

Despite her suspicions to the contrary, the choice of the name "Jessica" was only partly influenced by my love of the Allman Brothers tune of the same name!

So, neither of my real daughters are called Katie Mae or anything like it.

On the otherhand, my wife, as well as being "Mrs Red", is also called Catherine. Members of the family are allowed to called her Kate or even Katie...

A one-time drummer in my old band had a girlfriend called Nadine - a gorgeous redhead who was every re-blooded musician's dream!
Most of her friends called her "Dee" but to me, the full, Chuck Berry version suited her to a T - a magnifiicently sexy name for a fabulous young creature!!!

My daughter is actually named after a blues title, a Robert Nighthawk/Earl Hooker tune, unbeknownst to her momma, who thought it was a family name (well, it was, but I killed two birds with one stone, it was kind of like I got my way
