I'll give you a heads-up on the Johnny Young CD that Gerry Hundt (the Blue Bella jack-of-all-blues-trades) shared with me a while back. About half the tracks were remixed by Mike Vernon in the 1990s with the tape machine running a half-step too slow. The reason I hadn't reviewed this earlier was in hopes that the corrected release would be out soon. Instead of waiting any longer, I'll review the copy I have with a caveat.

Big thanks to Gerry for this information. He alerted the label to the situation and Dick Shurman also contacted Mike Vernon about the problem on Gerry's behalf.
