Hello all!

I was surprised when I found a forum so dedicated to the blues. I live in memphis and it seems everyone here I associate with my age, knows nothing about the blues. I was born and raised around the blues, so its always been the music of choice. I look forward to meeting the members here.

we're sort of neighbors, i'm just north of little rock. today Jolene and i are shooting videos of our duo- more fun that the county fair baby!

Yeah, I know that other than the IBC, Memphis is pretty void of blues 'cept...

Man, I wish I had yer problem... You can get in yer car an' be in Clarksdale in a couple hours... You can be in Como in 40 minutes...

For me, if I left right now, it'd be close to 14 hours to Como and $150 in gas...

Count yourself lucky...

All the good festivals that you can make in a day trip is beyond my wildest dreams...

Yeah, I know that Menphis ain't what it used to be but, hey, count yer lucky stars, none the less...

Heck, it'd cost me at least a grand just to attend this years IBC??? For you, it's 12 bucks... Unless they went up to 15 bucks...

But welcome, none the less...
