Hey, ya' all... Yeah, it's me... The same ol' fun lovin' Bobert but I figurated that if I were to try to tunnel into this classy joint as Bobert that Blindman woulda sicked a team of hillbilly eating moles on me and by now I'd be nuthin' but mole poop...
But nevermind mole poop...
Okay, there is a serious side of me and I seriously love the blues... Okay, I ain't into blues bands with 15 horns in 'um but if them 15 horns get my leg a'shakin' then bring 'um on... No, I like pre-war blues and post war blues... I play alot of Son House stuff 'cause next to Mississiipi Fred McDowell he, IMHO, was/is the man...
Actually, it was your Jerimiah who reminded me about this place and so I started lookin' round an' there Tweed (the Tweezer to me) who was my partner in crime in the "Como Cronicles" at his joint... Then there's Sassie who also hangs 'round Tweed's... Not too sure who else is here that I know but I'm looking forward to getting to know alot of you...
Lastly, Part 1, if yer curious about just what I llok like, my bio and samples of my music you can check out my website SidewalkBob.com...
Lastly, Part 2, since recordin' my CD I have two new instruments... Tge first is the Back Porch geetra which is a slab of wood with a neck and 5, yes 5, strings and was made by Ted Crocker... The other is a Lowebow made by John Lowe and is a cigar box with a couple dowel rods for a neck and no frets... It's got one base string and three unbass strings and 3 lectric pickups and is amazing...
Lastly, at last, nice to be here...
