I had always liked blues-oriented music, but after going to the Berkeley Blues Festival in April 1966 I became totally hooked on the blues. The first half of the show had Lightning Hopkins and Clifton Chenier playing with Francis Clay on drums, but the second half was Muddy Waters with James Cotton and Otis Spann and the rest of his band. I live across the bay from San Francisco and have been playing guitar for over 40 years, too. steeve Here's my MySpace space... (is there an echo in here??? Just joined today so looking forward chatting with you and everyone else. By the way nice sounding guitar ( checked out your site). 57 and just now taking lessons.
