Hello youself. Midwest is a big place. I grew up in southern Wisconsin, have a son living in Rockford, Illinois, and family scattered through the upper Midwest. It's always a pleasure to go back and visit family.

Glad to have you with us. I take it you meet some of our fellow BMBF members in Helena recently? That is a great group that goes down there every year. Maybe next year I will head down there. Please tell us more about yourself & the local blues scene.

Not quite sure exactly told me about this site, wish I had found it a long time ago.
In the 80s I was in New Orleans for a while and did a Blues show on Sunday nites.
One of the absolute Hightlights of my time in NewOrleans was in 1983 I got to run the Board for Ernie K-doe on one of his Now legendary Broadcasts.BURN K-DOE BURN!! I ain't never gonna forget that,Ernie Resplendant in a Red suit,me
on the other side of the control panel! Wow!!!
Then from around the spring of 1985 til Oct of 1987 I did a once a week blues show on Sunday nites on WWOZ. Then reality beckoned and I have spent the time since then in Central Illinois, and have been doing a Vintage blues show in Champaign Illinois, going on 4 years, on Tuesday Mornings at WEFT 90.1 fm also streaming on the web at weft.org
