Posts: 1 Aug 23 06 6:15 PM	Tags : None Hello, I just registered to this forum based on advise from bonecone. Seems the practice here is to give a brief introduction here, so here follows... I got into blues in my late teens, basically drawn by Stevie Ray Vaughan's powerful performances. I'm still very much a newbie in the area of blues, although I'm fascinated by it. I'm looking forward to finding all kinds of stuff from this forum. My own favorite style of playing is acoustic blues, country, rock etc. I'm greatly inspired by artists such as Townes Van Zandt, Robert Johnson, Son House and Mississippi John Hurt. Well, I guess that's enough for now. See you on the forum!

Since you're into those accoustic styles, be sure to check out the "In the style of thread" in the "Trading Post" (the topic is pinned to the top). These articles by Hawkeye Herman contain all kinds of great stuff for anyone learning to play blues in general. Some of them are accoustic, some are electric, all of them are great.
