It is based on the list from another thread. Guitarists that started recordings long before the specific era and were at their peak of their invenriveness before the era (like Kokomo Arnold Carl Martin, Joe McCoy, Memphis Minnie etc) were discluded from the poll. Others that recorded earlier but their peak of creativeness seems at the RJ era (like Blind Boy Fuller, Son Bonds, Bukka White , Oscar Woods etc.) were included.
